San Diego Shores Hosts Annual Pumpkin Party at La Jolla Cove

The San Diego Shores invited players and family members to the La Jolla Cove for an evening of fun, comraderie, and festivities as Halloween approaches. The crowd of nearly 200 people enjoyed pizza and a variety of desserts to go along with many contests.

Children had the opportunity and were encouraged to participate in several contests which included three different categories of pumpkin carving, crowning winners in scariest, goofiest, and most original. There was also a pumpkin seed spitting contest in which participants were required to pick a pumpkin seed fresh out of the carved pumpkins and spit it for distance.

The main goal of the evening was to give players, parents, and families a chance to come together and have a great time in a relaxed, family oriented setting. This is surely a favorite event of parents and coaches alike.
