Shores remains undefeated in tournament play.

San Diego Shores 14u boys faced off against Ft. Lauderadale, FL. and came away with an 8-2 victory. The boys teams looks very balanced throughout and while nobody stood out as a star in this game, the team doesn't appear to have any holes in it.

San Diego Shores 14u girls registered a 6-3 win over Miami, FL. after playing to a 3-3 tie at the half. Coach Ian and Coach Bart picked up some tendencies the other team was showing on defense and implemented the halftime changes, allowing our girls to take the lead. Then the defense kicked in again, allowing no scores on very few shot attempts in the second half. Julia Boland, Natalie Chun, Hannah Carrillo, Ariana Vazquez, and Jill Bushman showed poise and leadership, while Meghan Engh maintained control of the goal and her defense in front of the net.

San Diego Shores girls 14u will play fierce rival Commerce City, CA today at 4pm EST and a win gives them the drivers seat into the Gold Medal National Championship Game.
