Southern California Car Scene Heats Up in December

While the rest of the country lays a coat of wax, puts on the winter wheels and snow tires, and lays the cover over their car before the snow consumes them, Southern California prepares for several winter car shows and gatherings.

There are several charity car shows this month in San Diego benefitting Toys for Tots.

There is a show on Saturday, Dec 5th at the Marine Recruiting Depot, Sunday, Dec. 6th at Solar Eclipse, and a number of other shows throughout the area with proceeds going to help those in need during this time of economic duress.

Later in the month, in Santa Barbara, CA is the annual Left Coast Low festival. This gathering features some of the West Coasts finest slammed, stanced, and just downright creative cars.

December is a time for friends and family, so pack up the relatives and participate in one of these events to help the less fortunate and portray the Southern California car scene in a positive light so we can eliminate the street racer stigma that law enforcement has been holding onto since the release of The Fast and Furious movies.

If you have any questions about any of the shows in our local area, feel free to send me an email and I will try to get you additional details.
