Shores falls to Newport 9-4 and will play Sunday for 5th place.

The San Diego Shores girls could not regain any of the momentum lost in their previous game. Shores had 2 goals erased from the board early and this was all the momentum a highly skilled Newport team needed to drive the nail into the proverbial coffin and put Shores into the 5th/6th place game, while securing their own spot in the Bronze medal game on Sunday.
