After giving up 3 early power play goals and falling behind 5-3 at halftime, the Shores girls rallied behind inspired play from Ariana Vazquez, Meghan Engh, and Hannah Carrillo to force a shootout finale and ultimately defeat the powerhouse from Murrietta.
Assistant Coach Bart Sardo was pleased with how the girls responded to his 2nd half adjustments and felt that ultimately the girls ability to adjust to his coaching style and implement the halftime change of strategy led to the win.
